Content in Monster Girl Dreams comes in primarily three forms. It starts with adventures through newly discovered location as you progress though the campaign, requiring you to go through a series of events and encounters. Completing a location's adventure will in turn unlock new locations, and the ability to selectively explore the completed location as you wish. Each location gives access not only to most if not all of the adventure's content to repeat as you wish, but also a varied number of new quests and events. Each of course containing various of encounters and/or scenarios with the games Characters.
